Zerin and Hailey 2003

I came across these cute little clips that Uncle Jason made of Zerin and his cousin Hailey. These two kids have always been great friends and I hope they always will. Thanks for the clips Uncle Jason!!

Dress up Fun

I was watching my friends little girl yesterday and Natalie and her started playing dress up. I thought it would be fun to take some pictures.
Here is Natalie, Jane, and Bethany. Bethany is the daughter of a childhood friend of mine. It was fun to watch the two of them play and become friends.

Bethany... isn't she a doll!
OK, Natalie and Bethany are darling but I could just eat this little cutie up.

Dress up is so fun.

Happy Birthday Natalie

Happy Birthday to my Nattie Bug

Warning: this post is full of mushy stuff and bragging about my child. OK Natalie is amazing. She has always been a very happy and loving kid. She is so smart and wants to excel at everything in school ( what parent wouldn't love this). My little love bug is so cuddly and sweet. She loves to cuddly with me on my bed and tell me all kinds of stories or just talk about stuff. I love that! Natalie is also a great big sister. she loves to play with Jane and take care of her. They have a serious sister bond. I hope and pray they can be as close to each other as my sister and I are. Natalie is also quite sassy and I love this- it is very entertaining!
I love you Natalie and I feel so lucky, blessed, and honored to be your mom.

Trick or Treat

Here are the three trick or treaters. Doesn't Jane look good enough to eat as a green M&M. She loved going door to door and getting candy. She is crazy on sugar! She gets possessive with chocolate and all hyper. I have no idea where she gets that from.

Nat made the Cutest Witch of the West! This isn't the best picture. I have learned I can get her to be whatever I want her to be for Halloween as long as she gets to wear mascara and lipstick. She was cute and It will be a great costume for Jane in the future.

Here is Batman and Ace (Bat Hound). The mask didn't fit but -oh well, he had fun. He is getting so big. I thought that costume would fit him with plenty of room but it fit him a little too well. He has got to stop growing so fast! You should see how big his feet are.
Hope you all had a great Halloween and now that it is over it is time for the super fun holidays to begin. I am excited for them. It fells like Fall finally and I am loving it. We have been listening to Christmas music since September ( my mother -in l-aw will be so proud of us) to get us in the Holiday spirit. I am not sure what is different this year but I am all into the spirit of things. Maybe it is the crisp cool air or that my kids are old enough to enjoy it and understand it all better or maybe it is from listening to Christmas music early- I don't know. I guess I will just enjoy it all and hope you will too.

Zerin and flying to the Moon

Zerin has been known for his great one-liners. Cam thought this line was so good and so Zerin that I should post about it.

The other day Cam and I were asking the kids what they wanted to be we they grow up. Nat said she wanted to be a teacher - which makes sense. She is very smart and she likes to boss people around and have all eyes on her. She is a crack up and I love her.

Zerin wasn't really giving an answer so we offered some suggestions . It went something like this " Z do you want to build houses and buildings like Dad, or be a firefighter, or an astronaut.... "and to that Z replied with "why would I go to school for that long just to go to the moon!" Cam and I laughed pretty good at that one.

I love my Z! He is very opinionated and strong willed. Sometimes we but heads but he really is a sweet heart. He is a great big brother and knows how to be a true friend. I am so grateful he is mine.

Oh, the fun we will have

Today, while my older kids are at school and my baby naps I am relishing the quiet and doing what I would like to do and enjoying the nice clean house because it will all come to an end in about 1hr and 30 mins. when school gets out. My kids will be out of school for next week. I am sure we will have all kinds of fun together but it also means more messes to clean up. I am glad they are so cute and that they are great kids. But for now I will just enjoy the quiet and remind my self how great they are so I can enjoy the next week with them. Posted by Picasa

Then and Now

Just for fun I thought I would compare these two pictures. Picture #1 is from my wedding and I am 23. Picture #2 is from someone else's wedding that was born in the late 80's and I am 31. Wow - what time does to a person. OK so at least I am now older and wiser..or maybe just older.
Disclaimer: My scanner wasn't working so I used my cell phone to take a picture of the picture and scan it in that way. " You know how when you take a copy of a copy it just doesn't turn out right." - movie quote

Jane's summer of fun

Jane is a tornado. Busy does not quite paint the whole picture with this little cutie. She has had a great summer with lots of fun and adventures. She started walking at 10 months and is now running. She has been doing a little of everything from reading to racing go-karts. She totally enjoys mud baths and bubble baths. She also likes the dryer - awesome- She also likes to draw and I am just waiting for to start drawing on my walls... I am tired already. With all of this busy stuff it doesn't surprise me how she can fall asleep anywhere. I love my little crazy girl! By the way I have no idea where the time went but she just turned one year old. Where is the pause button?

Katie's back and time for school

Today was the first day of school for Zerin and Natalie. We have moved and my kids now go to a school where they have to wear uniforms ( which I love!) I think they are so cute in their uniforms so I had to share. Having two kids in school all day long is weird. My house was so quiet. Jane and I just goofed off and cleaned all day and it was awesome. We do miss our old school and all our dear friends. - Hi dear friends- can you believe I am blogging again? It took me long enough!

Zerin loves our dog Papaya and had to take a picture with her too.

OK maybe I am a little bias but couldn't she be in a magazine? Nat is doing fantastic! She makes friend every where she goes and is just a little ball of fire. Nat is getting settled in here at our new house and is sooooo excited for school.

OK so these pics aren't my best work but they are cute to me. What a handsome boy! When did he get so big? Z is doing great and getting adjusted at our new home and is making new friends. Moving took quit a toll on him but he his finally adjusted and things have calmed down. He is not one that takes change well but we have been having a real good time lately. Why do they have to get so big so fast?

Betrothals

I am one of those moms that tries to match up each of my kids up with someone good to marry at sometime (way far) in the future. I know it is probably lame and somehow wrong but I want my kids to marry into cool families- you know- families that I like and have good and cute kids at the appropriate age. I know that this will probably not work out the way I have planned but a mom can dream can't she?

This is my son Z and he is betrothed to this little doll Katelyn. She is as sweet as they come. Cam and I love her parents. They are close friends of our and are just about the coolest family to marry into. They are just awesome. Oh-- did I mention that my Zerin is named after Katelyn's dad? Would that be too weird to marry the guy that was named after your father? Oh well, it is already set up with a verbal agreement between parents.

This is Natalie and she has known this cutie pie since before she was one. We used to drive by the Timpanogus Temple and Nat would say "look mommy it's the Timpanogus Temple, where I am going to marry Jack". Jack and Natalie have always been great friends and Jack comes from a very much approved family. Jack's family is awesome and we love them. Definitely a meant to be couple. How cute will their kids be??
Now for Jane

Worthy of Jane

This is my Jane. She is sweet and cute and is showing signs of great intelligence. She is from the craziest family you will ever meet. We are now accepting applications for a (way far in the) future spouse. Those who seek a betrothal with Jane should posses the following qualifications:

Must be cute and nice.

The suitor's family should not be much crazier that Jane's family

Must be a hard worker

Must be friends with her parents

Things that will further along an application:

coming from a rich and/ or well educated family.
There are a lot more qualifications required to get to marry my Jane but meeting these qualification will get you in the door. I will interrogate approved applicants and their families further into the application process.

This one is a possibility! What do you think Kimberly? How about a double wedding? (This is Sam, Jack's little brother)

Shopping drunk

This has been bugging since yesterday. I was in Safeway yesterday and while I was in the check out line there was a lady in front of me with an out of control two year old. She was kinda talking funny and kept rambling on about her three other kids. She said she had a 4yr old and a 6 yr old also. Then as I looked in her cart by her little two year old there was a bottle thing (I am pretty naive, so I am a little slow when it comes to these kinds of things) but the stupid lady was DRUNK!!!!!!!!! How- How do you get drunk in the middle of the day in a grocery store with a baby???? How could someone do that. She was gone before I could really do anything or say anything. I have just been sick thinking about those poor children and how that woman needs help. OK- Thanks I just needed to vent about that a little more. I guess sometimes a prayer is all the help you can give.

For Grumma and Papa Ken

We have a very full house these days. My Sister-in-Law Aubrey and her 4 kids are staying with for a while. Yes, that means there are 7 children in our house. It is pretty crazy around here but the kids are having a blast! So here is a post for Grumma and Papa to see what we have been up to.

The kids are such good friends and have been playing so well together. They are so hillarious and feed on each others energy and imaginantion- No wonder I am so tired.

There is a lot of playing dress up and twirling going on with all these girls around. Cameron is going for the uncle of the year award--He earned the Father of the year award a long time ago.

Yes and tonight there was dancing. Z is pretty good at dancing and spinning the girls around. He has been a big trooper with all these girls around doing girly stuff. With all this training around girls and dancing skills he might turn out to be quite the lady's man. I hope they all stay cute and little for a long while. - I am not ready for anything else.
Anyway- We miss you Graumma and Papa Ken! We all hope to see you soon.
We Love you !!!! Cameron, Katie, Zerin, Natalie, Jane, Aubrey, Hailey, Katelyn, Lauren, and Adam.
(Jane was asleep and Adam was gone so there will be pictures of them later.)

5 going on 15

So should I be scared of her ever reaching the "teen years"? Natalie is my little ball of fire. She is full of love and life. She is a great kid with a very fun personality. She can be a way prissy girl or she can go play in the mud-- I like that! She is so fun to take shopping for clothes because she is cute most things she puts on and she has already formed a serious fashion sense. Where did she get prissy and the fashions thing because I am not the greatest at either of those.. Maybe I can learn the fashion thing from her. Anyway I saw this picture and I needed to write something nice about Nat because sometimes her great bold personality is a bit much for me to handle. I think I must be getting old because she has way to much imagination and energy for me and she wears me out. But I can see this strong and fun personality becoming a great person who will do incredible things in her life. I love you Nati -bug!
